Carry more with no fees, no fuss

16 pockets in total

14 internal + 2 external pockets distribute weight evenly and maximise carry without bulk or sagging

Your stuff stays put

Magnetic fasteners on the back pockets and elasticated front openings keep everything secure from gate to seat. Unlike velcro, magnets also won't snag your clothes.

Built to last

Wrinkle resistant and water repellent ripstop shell, premium YKK zipper, machine washable at 30°C. Travels as hard as you do

How it works

1

Lay it out
Lay your clothes flat and pack pocket by pocket. Softer items front, heavier items back.

2

Pack it in
Fill each pocket, close the fastenings, and check nothing shifts. You're good to go.

3

Wear it through
Slip it under your jacket at the gate. It's clothing, not luggage. No questions asked.

4

Use it at the other end
Unpack at the hotel, then wear the vest exploring. Valuables close, hands free.

Tip: Pack socks and undergarments last to fill any remaining space in the pockets

FAQs

Is the Cabin Vest considered luggage by airlines?

No. Airlines measure bags, not clothing. Items you are wearing are not counted as cabin baggage. This is standard practice across low-cost and full-service airlines.

Will this work on airlines with strict carry-on limits?

Yes. The Cabin Vest is worn on your body, not carried as a bag. Airlines measure baggage allowances, not the clothing you wear. Many travellers already layer extra clothing to avoid baggage fees this simply does it in a smarter, more organised way.

It’s designed with strict carry-on policies in mind, including airlines such as Ryanair, easyJet, Wizz Air, Jetstar, AirAsia, Scoot, Spirit and Frontier.

What should I pack in it?

Softer clothing works best: t-shirts, underwear, shirts, pants, socks, sweaters. You can pack larger firmer items like jeans in the back pockets for better balance & comfort.

Is it comfortable when fully packed?

Yes. The weight is distributed across your torso and back, not your shoulders. Breathable inner mesh helps with comfort during movement. You also don't have to do up the zip which also makes it more comfortable to wear

Can I wear it in summer?

Yes. The vest has no padding or insulation and is designed to be worn year-round. In warmer weather, it can be worn alone or lightly layered.

Does it look bulky when full?

No, when packed correctly and layered under a jacket, it remains discreet. The design avoids the “stuffed” or puffy look which can be common with other travel vests, but it will look bulky if over-stuffed.

Is it allowed through airport security?

Yes, you must place it in a tray just like any other jacket you're wearing which will also need to be removed to be scanned.

How do I clean it?

Machine washable on a gentle cycle. Hang to dry. Do not tumble dry.

CABIN FLEX

Spend less at the gate. More at the destination.

Shop The Cabin Vest

Why Cabin Flex

Cabin Flex started with a familiar frustration.

A checked bag for 10 days always felt like too much. But carry-on only never felt like enough. There was no good in-between - just compromise.

The Cabin Vest gives you the carry-on capacity you actually need, without the wait, or the money spent before you've even arrived. More budget for the trip. More time at the destination. Less time at the carousel.
